Author Daphne Marsden (BMin, MTheol) is the Founder and has been the Manager of Project Esther in New Zealand for 23 years. She is also a part-time Chaplain in Christchurch Women’s Prison. This book grew from her 2013 Master’s thesis. It examines how evangelical churches respond to domestic abuse within church communities and calls for theological and practical changes.
